Accelerated FreeFall (AFF) is the modern way to learn to skydive and it allows you to experience the exhilaration of freefall from your first jump, and potentially become a licensed solo skydiver in as few as 18 jumps! After a day of AFF Student Deploying Their Parachute At Around 5,000 Feet!ground school lessons you will make your first jump with the assistance of 2 instructors who will stay with you throughout the freefall phase of the skydive, ensuring that you deploy safely so you can enjoy the thrill of  parachuting all the way back down to the ground. Throughout the parachute descent you will be receiving instruction from the ground via radio to ensure your safe return to earth having completed the first step on the way to becoming a licensed skydiver!

From here you will progress through a further 6 levels of assisted or coached skydives, a low level jump and then 10 consolidation jumps where you jump on your own, practicing the skills that you have learned during your training.

The benefit of doing these courses abroad, typically in Spain or the USA, is that the weather is more predictable, so for the wannabe jumper who wants to get through the course in a short space of time this is a great option and you get to go on holiday too! Courses can be arranged by TandemZone through their network of contacts at AFF schools abroad, or with specialist UK instructors (many of whom are ex-military with experience of teaching Special Forces soldiers as well as civilians to skydive, and are BPA rated) who regularly take groups of students abroad on such courses.

AFF Skydiving Abroad Features:

Train in Spain or the USA, full day of training from an experienced, qualified instructor, 8 levels, first 3 with 2 instructors then after that with 1 instructor, new freefall skills taught on every jump, radio assistance under canopy including landing.

AFF Skydiving Abroad Benefits:

It's all about the weather as Spain and the USA tend to have more consistent good weather than the UK so completing the course in a short period is more likely, experience freefall on your first jump with assistance throughout, learn to fly your own canopy, once you have successfully completed these 8 levels you will do 10 more jumps to consolidate your skills and sit a canopy control exam and become qualified solo skydiver.
