AFF stands for Accelerated Free Fall. Following a full day of training from an experienced, qualified instructor, you will skydive with 2 instructors from a minimum height of 10,000 feet, deploy your own parachute and then under radio instruction you will fly your paracute back to the ground and land. This can be done as a sponsored, charity skydive.
AFF Level 1 Skydive Benefits:
Experience freefall on your first skydive with assistance throughout, learn to fly your own canopy, first step in becoming a BPA qualified skydiver through the Accelerated Freefall training method.
AFF Level 1 Skydive Requirements:
Minimum 16 years old, parental consent for under 18's, medical certificate which is self certifiable under 40 but over 40’s will need to have a medical form signed by their GP, comfortable clothing, lace up trainers, generally weight limits are 15st for males and 13st for females. We do not recommend this experience for those over 49, but please contact us to discuss this further as this is only a guideline.
Accelerated FreeFall (AFF) is the modern way to learn to skydive and it allows you to experience the exhilaration of freefall from your first skydive, and potentially become a licensed solo skydiver in as few as 18 skydives! After a day of ground school lessons you will make your first skydive with the assistance of 2 instructors who will stay with you throughout the freefall phase of the skydive, ensuring that you deploy safely so you can enjoy the thrill of parachuting back down to the ground. Throughout the parachute descent you will be receiving instruction from the ground via radio to ensure your safe return to earth having completed the first step on the way to becoming a licensed skydiver!
