Tandem Skydive Features:

It's a short training course on the ground, then an experienced tandem instructor kits you out in all the required gear, takes you to the plane, fastens you securely to them and then, when at the right altitude, jumps and does most of the work for you and brings you back to the ground safely!

Tandem Skydive Requirements:

Minimum 16 years old, parental consent for under 18's, medical certificate which is self certifiable under 40 but over 40’s will need to have a medical form signed by their GP, comfortable clothing, lace up trainers, weight restrictions outlined in the table below.

A Tandem Skydive (or Tandem Parachute Jump) is the quickest and simplest way to experience the exhilaration of freefall skydiving! Arriving at the centre of your choice you will check in and then be briefed by a professional tandem skydiver on the skydive that you will undertake. When it is your turn to go your tandem instructor will help to kit you out in a jumpsuit, protective headwear, goggles and most importantly your harness! You will then board the plane, fly to altitude and SKYDIVE!!! In freefall you will experience the exhilarating sensation of falling towards the earth at around 120mph, or 55 meters per second!  At 5000 feet (approx 1 mile!) your tandem instructor will then deploy the parachute, slowing you down to a gentle pace so you can take in the view and then enjoy the fun of canopy flight before you are reunited safely and soundly with planet earth.
